Standard and Lightweight Dies
From 5mm to 40mm. Please check maximum load for each die. Atlas 32 and 40mm dies are ideally suited for repetative pressings due to their greatly reduced weight.
Film Makers And Heated Platens
The heated platens have a large surface area, are rugged, durable and have full CE safety approval. They are fitted with a permanent thermocouple to monitor the temperature close to the pressing surface. The press connection ports are water-cooled, providing an efficient heating and cooling cycle. The platens are controlled by a digital automatic temperature controller with a stability of ±1.0 ºC. Both film maker systems are compatible with all Specac presses. The high temperature system is a compact unit combining the film maker device, heated platens, and cooling chamber as an integral unit. Further features of this system include a sample cup making device, non-drip water connections, low voltage operation and a high stability temperature controller.
