FTIR and Laboratory Press Vacuum System
Specac offer a vacuum pump kit for use with a number of Specac FTIR Accessory and Laboratory Hydraulic Press products including: Evacuable Pellet Dies, Variable Temperature Cell Holder, Variable Temperature Cell Cuvette Holder, and FTIR Gas Cells (unheated). This vacuum pump is supplied along with an appropriate kit of parts (a pressure gauge, vacuum tubing, vacuum pump oil, and particular connecting unions) compatible for immediate use with appropriate Specac Accessories.
The vacuum pump is designed for normal starting in low temperature (at or above 5°C) and low voltage conditions. It operates at high vacuum and with low noise. There is an inbuilt oil mist eliminating device and it has an oil/gas separator at the air exhaust outlet which removes any oil contamination in the air exhaust.
