Image Quality Infrared Polarizers

GS57000 Series Wire Grid Po;arizers

Specac offer a version of GS57000 series infrared polarizers especially for imaging applications, with anti-reflection coatings as standard and fabricated on zinc selenide (ZnSe) and germanium (Ge) infrared transmitting substrates with a high specification of optical flatness and parallelism.

 

To ensure premium performance, an enhanced coating process is used to ensure a higher degree of polarization extinction ratio over standard GS57000 series infrared polarizers, without jeopardising transmission throughput. Available in sizes from 25 mm to 71 mm diameter clear aperture and fabricated with a grid periodicity of 4000 lines/mm, these image quality infrared polarizer offer outstanding extinction coefficient and transmission throughput characteristics with enhanced performance at short wavelengths for precision applications

 

These polarizers are compatible with Specac's GS57300 series of Bench Mount Polarizer rotators.  In addition, 38 mm clear aperture GS57000 series Infrared Polarizers may be mounted in Specac's GS12510 Benchmark™ FTIR Polarizer Rotator for in-compartment polarization experimentation with Specac Benchmark™ baseplate mounted accessories such as: Golden Gate™ ATR, Silver Gate™ Evolution ATR, and Gateway™ Horizontal ATR systems, and the Cyclone™ and Tornado™ long pathlength gas cells.
