New Mini-Press & Mini-Film Maker - 01/11/2011
In October Specac unveiled 2 new products at trade conferences in China & India.
Specac's New Mini-Pellet Press is a 2 ton load manual hydraulic press, which is designed to produce 7mm KBr pellets for transmission spectroscopy. This small, easy to use press is a cost effective way of creating pellets for analysis without taking up room in the Lab. With a rugged and durable design, this press is intended of regular laboratory use.

To complement the Mini-Pellet Press we have also introduced a Mini-Film Maker, This product consists of a low-tonnage press with integrated heated platens for hot pressing polymer films. Melting points of up to 250°C are achievable and sizing rings are included for film thicknesses from 50 to 500 microns.
