SpectroElectroChemical Transmission Cell - 11/02/2010
Soon we will be launching our SpectroElectroChemical Transmission Cell (GS20900) which is based on an OTTLE (Optically Transparent Thin Layer Electrode) concept. SpectroElectroChemical Spectroscopy allows the application of an electric field to the sample whilst recording spectroscopic absorption features.
This has particular application for monitoring redox-coupled reactions, to allow in-situ spectroscopic analysis of electro-generated intermediates or products.
The new product will be compatible with Specac's Variable Temperature Cell (GS21525), Water Heating Jacket (GS20710), and standard Cell Holder (GS20730), to allow operation over the temperature range -50ºC to 50ºC.
For further information, or to register your interest, please contact Specac at sales@specac.co.uk
UPDATE: We will be showing the SpectroElectroChemical Cell on our booth at both Pittcon and Analytica. Please come and see us there.
